Yap Jun Hong (Nemo)

Yap Jun Hong (Nemo) is a computational linguist who has been exposed to machine learning and deep learning methods, but is more interested in rule-based and logic-based methods of analysing language. Nemo’s main work experience before joining CCLAW was as a research assistant at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). He has a BA in Philosophy, specialising in Logic and Philosophy of Language, and an MSc in Speech and Language Technology (Natural Language Processing), focused on Natural Language Understanding.
